Working from Home

Firm life is filled with code words, but one of the most important to learn is the phrase “working from home.” Whether due to a legitimate illness or because you just couldn’t face the office that day, playing the WFH card lets you pretend to yourself and your colleagues that you are fully engaged in your work while opening up large blocks of time for napping and binge-watching Netflix.  Just be careful not to blow your cover the next day by referencing the eight episodes of Making a Murderer you ended up watching.
